Executive Director Announcement.
The Board of CCFYR are delighted to announce that effective October 2nd – Susanne Cappuccitti will be joining us as our incoming Executive Director as Karen Addison announced her intention to retire in June of this year.
Susanne has worked with us over the last 5 years in various roles, from serving on Character Council and then the Board, as well as, most recently a consultant for our Grant Writing and Sponsorships. Read her Bio here.
Karen will work with Susanne over the next few weeks to transition her and we thank Karen for her eight years of dedication and passion for our Character development work and we wish her well as she eases her way into retirement on October 12.

Character Community Foundation of York Region (CCFYR) is a not-for-profit charitable organization, launched in 2001, registered in 2007 and granted status as the first registered Character Community charity in Canada.

CCFYR represents a group of committed volunteers and leaders from the community, government, education and business sectors who support our ongoing Mission to engage individuals and organizations in positive character development and to work toward our Vision of having York Region lead in community character development.
